This is a painting of obsession. Literally....the bird drawings, the flowers, the dots and precise pen detail. I began with this idea of trying to get over the compulsive
nature of my drawings. I thought maybe if I just did this big piece of work that was stuffed with these characters I've become addicted to I would get sick of them and sick of making the same marks over and over again.
Now it's done.
I think I'll do a lot more like this;)
